Article Processing Charge and Publication Fee Policy
The Journal of Scientific and Technological Innovation (JSTI) is an open-access journal. All published articles are made freely available online to readers without subscription fees.
To support editorial administration, manuscript screening, peer review coordination, formatting checks, online publication, digital archiving, DOI registration, and journal platform maintenance, JSTI applies the following author fees.
1. Submission and Editorial Review Fee
A Submission and Editorial Review Fee is payable at the time of manuscript submission.
This fee supports initial administrative screening, formatting checks, similarity checking, editorial assessment, peer review coordination, and journal system maintenance.
2. Article Processing Charge
If a manuscript is accepted for publication after editorial screening and peer review, an Article Processing Charge is payable before final publication.
For submissions from partner institutions, student research programmes, or approved educational collaborations, a reduced publication fee may apply.
The Article Processing Charge supports final manuscript formatting, online publication, DOI registration, metadata preparation, digital archiving, and journal platform maintenance.
3. Printed Copies and Offprints
The Article Processing Charge covers online open-access publication only. Printed copies of the journal and printed article offprints are not included and may be requested for an additional fee.

Shipping and handling fees, especially for international delivery, may be charged separately based on actual cost.
4. Fee Waivers and Discounts
JSTI may offer partial or full fee waivers for selected student authors, research competition submissions, partner institution projects, or authors with demonstrated financial need.
Fee waiver requests should be submitted to the Editorial Office at the time of submission or before final acceptance.
5. Editorial Independence
Author fees are separated from editorial decision-making. Payment of any fee does not guarantee acceptance, favourable review, fast-track publication, or publication in a specific issue.
All manuscripts are reviewed according to JSTI's editorial policies, peer review standards, publication ethics requirements, and academic quality criteria.
